Welcome to Echoed Adornments! My name is Madison and I am so grateful for your support of my craft 🙂
I aspire to give back to the Earth by sourcing recycled materials and supporting small businesses and markets. All finished products are handmade by me and are one-of-a-kind.
My interest in jewelry making began very early on in childhood. I started simple; stringing pony beads onto friendship bracelets as gifts for friends and family, bedazzling jeans, purses and t-shirts, weaving fabric and rubber-bands into many different kinds of accessories. I love a good creative outlet. My entrepreneurial instincts were already preset and in motion. I would make and sell duct tape wallets in middle school for example. This continued on throughout school and in my early adult years.
Then the COVID shutdown happened.
Most of my exposure was through the festival scene, so I had no faith that an aspiring creative would be able to make it in these conditions. I was pretty discouraged and without passion for the entire duration of the shutdown and was looking for answers at the bottom of a bottle for quite some time.
I have gone through a major shift over the last few years since the shutdown era. Once the world opened back up, it felt like new beginnings. Working alongside like-minded creatives again within the festival scene opened up so many opportunities and inspirations for me. This ‘Echoed Adornments’ journey, being one of them. The idea came to me winter of 2025. As I had been making jewelry for myself and others for years, so I decided to stock up on some inventory and sign up for 2026 markets. I had my mission, all I needed was a name.
One of my favorite pass-times is thrift-shopping and yard-sailing for materials to make the jewelry. I’ll find bags and boxes of beads and charms, bring them home, give them a good wash, and organize them into tackle boxes for my up-cycling pleasure. They are ‘echoed’ once I alchemize them into a new design. To keep it ethereal, of course, I looked up synonyms for jewelry in the dictionary, found ‘Adornments’ and that stuck.
I started selling small in March of 2026 at a First Friday’s event in Downtown Danville. The turn-out was greater than I could’ve imagined. I was elated with the attendance and feedback. Optimistic, I signed up for more opportunities to showcase my work. I averaged out to vending three events a month this year! Customers began to ask about my website, and I just did not have one. This encouraged me to reach out to my father, the computer wizard, to help me build a website and
